EAA's Burrowing Owl Preservation
Proposals.
- Set aside land as Burrowing Owl habitat for use as an
outdoor-educational facility for students and faculty to study native
plants and wildlife.
Preferably the area next to the tennis courts which has the largest
owl population..
- Extend the time frame of the existing areas conserved
in the Mitigation Agreement to a level of parity with the commercially
leased sites.
- Develop a monitoring and maintenance plan for the Burrowing
Owls and their habitat sites.
- Expand the use of native plants and landscaping; thereby
promoting a natural habitat for the Burrowing Owls and other wildlife
